Adini Building 891 Great West Road: New planning applications

Following the public meeting held at the Adini Building on 10 January 2018, the owners have submitted two new planning applications that are now being consulted on.

Adini Building 891 Great West Road: picture of revised proposal for commercial element

Hounslow Council’s planning case officer has advised of two separate applications:

Commercial element application reference 00505/891/P5: the front of the existing Adini building would be kept and extended behind up to 5 storeys.  There would be a reinstatement of light railings to the front as original design.  This is a completely different scheme than the original submission.

Residential element application reference 00505/891/P4: there would be a set back on the fourth floor away from the Warkworth Gardens resulting in one less flat than the original submission (15 flats now proposed) and no windows on side elevations.  The existing historic wall to Northumberland Avenue will still be kept and relocation of cycle storage together with some window and elevational alterations to the front and rear.

More detail can be found on the Hounslow Council website planning pages, here, using the above references.

Some computer generated images can be seen here and the formal consultation letter here.

Although residents may have responded to the earlier applications, they would, due to the more than minor changes, be encouraged to provide fresh comment on these two new submissions.

Adini have been asked whether they would host another event, a response is awaited and will be shared should one be arranged.
