This welcome news is a good example of the council responding positively to settle residents’ concerns and an acknowledgment that informed consultation is important.

Anyone wishing to comment on planning application reference P/2015/2516 and time to read one, some or all of the 70 odd statements and plans has, pretty much the rest of July to respond.

Should any reader occasionally find it difficult to access the council’s planning website http://www.hounslow.gov.uk/planning, they may try looking at the same via this http://keeposterleygreen.org/the-submission/ plenty there on this and more.

After nearly twenty years absence, this councillor is back on Hounslow’s Planning Committee and not able to comment on the merits or otherwise of planning applications outside the decision making process.  I can however, as a ward councillor, do my best to ensure that constituents are able to fully participate in consultations, able to meet and maintain dialogue with council officers, have access to information and be treated fairly.
